Partner Products
We allow you to apply for products and services provided by third parties (“Partner Products”) on our “Services” to save your time. If you apply for “Partner Products” through our “Services”, your “personal data” will be sent to the provider, and your application will be handled by the provider. The provider may contact you directly about your application. Your “personal data” will be used, processed and stored in accordance with the provider’s privacy policy, which is beyond Cared’s control.
How Do We Disclose Your Information?
We are committed to keeping your “personal data” and other data you share with us confidential. However, in some cases, we may disclose or transfer your “personal data” to certain third parties without giving you separate notice, as follows:
– **Related Companies:** We may share your “personal data” with our affiliates in Cared.
– **Business Transfers:** As our business grows, we may sell or buy different businesses or assets. If a change of control, merger, acquisition, reorganization, dissolution or similar event occurs or is anticipated, we may disclose or transfer “personal data” to third parties.
– **Partners:** We may need to share data with our partners, namely banks, brokers, lenders, insurance companies, credit institutions and other currency and financial service providers, whose products may be displayed on our “Services” from time to time (hereinafter referred to as “**Partners**”), or when you request the products and/or services of our “Partners”, we need to provide them with your “personal data” in pre-filled forms or through APIs. In order to enable you to redeem rewards from our “Services”, we may also need to share such details with relevant “Partners” to verify your reward redemption.
– **Public Forums:** We may give you the opportunity to publicly post reviews, questions, comments, suggestions or other content, which may include your personal data such as your name or username. Any content you share on public forums can be seen by the public, so you should consider carefully before deciding to share.
– **Agents, Consultants and Other Service Providers:** We rely on service providers to provide support for our business and “Services”, such as (but not limited to) our third-party payment service providers, IT and analytics service providers, back office support organizations, business consultants, legal service providers and marketing service providers. When we hire another entity to perform such functions, we only provide them with the information they need when they perform specific functions.
– **Marketing Partners:** We may share your “personal data” with our marketing partners, including third-party service providers, advertisers, advertising networks and platforms, advertising agents, and data integrators, to place and provide personalized advertising. We may share “personal data” with our marketing partners to link and match our lists with those of our marketing partners, thereby establishing a group of “audiences” for placing personalized ads.
– **Legal Requirements:** We and/or any of the third parties listed above may need to disclose your “personal data” to any court, law enforcement agency, government department, regulatory or industry organization in any country/region, in response to legal requirements in Hong Kong or any other jurisdiction, or in response to legal requirements in Hong Kong or elsewhere. We may also need to disclose your “personal data” (i) to identify, contact anyone who may damage or interfere with our and/or any third party’s rights or property (whether intentionally or unintentionally), or to bring legal action against them; and/or (ii) to assist in complying with our “Partners” or other third parties’ anti-money laundering and anti-terrorist financing requirements.
We use Airwallex for payment, analysis and other business services. Airwallex will collect identification data related to devices connected to its services. Stripe will use this data to operate and improve the services it provides to us, including fraud detection.
By using our “Services”, you agree to the use and disclosure of your “personal data” as described above.
Keeping You Informed About the Latest News Related to Our Services and Direct Marketing
After you use our services, if you have subscribed to receive our newsletters, we may use your “personal data” (including your name, address, email address and phone number) to contact you about the latest news, offers, events and promotional plans related to price comparison service online content and other products and services we introduce on “Services” from time to time.
For example, this may include physical examinations and medical products. We may use other collected data about you, including but not limited to your age, location, income range, employment status, browsing history, purchases and requested quotes, to provide you with customized and relevant materials. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in the emails we send to you, to opt out of receiving our newsletters and other direct marketing communications.
These communications are different from the communications you receive after registering an account with us. In addition to account-related communications, our logged-in users will also receive exclusive and/or advanced access to personalized content that is only provided and distributed to them, and may be sent by email. As a logged-in user, you may not opt out of receiving messages related to membership unless you deactivate your account;
With your explicit consent, we may also provide your “personal data” (including your name, address, email address and phone number) to our “Partners”, so they can contact you about the latest news, offers, events and promotional plans related to other products and services introduced on the price comparison service.
We may also share aggregated data with third parties for various purposes (including marketing and advertising), provided that your identity will not be disclosed as a result of such sharing, and we may use this data to better understand your needs and to improve and adjust our products and services. However, please note that unless permitted or required by law or as otherwise provided in this “Privacy Policy”, we will not disclose your “personal data” to any third party without your prior consent.

Third-Party Suppliers
If you choose to enter into a contract with a third party through our “Services”, the data you provide to the third party will be transferred to the third party and controlled by the third party in accordance with the third party supplier’s privacy policy. Therefore, for more information about their privacy policy, you should contact them directly and read all policies, terms and conditions before signing a contract. We are not responsible for how third-party suppliers use your “personal data”.
Data Security
We strive to protect the online and other privacy of our customers, and maintaining customer trust is key to our business success. We use multi-layered protection methods
to safeguard the ‘personal data’ entrusted to us by customers and continually improve these measures to deal with various security risks. We use Google Cloud as our technical infrastructure service provider to support the main core parts of our ‘services’. The collected data will be stored in data centers operated by Google Cloud, which offer the best security protection.
When you register an account with us, you will need to set a password. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and not sharing it with anyone. We are not responsible if a third party uses your password to log into your account and conduct any transactions. If you suspect that your account is being used by someone else, please notify us immediately.
Even though we have taken security precautions, there are inevitably risks associated with transmitting data over the Internet, so we cannot fully guarantee the security of your ‘personal data’. At any time, you need to bear the risks associated with transmitting your ‘personal data’ over the Internet and the possibility of malicious software on your device used to access our ‘services’. Therefore, you should ensure that you enter or upload your ‘personal data’ only in a secure environment and on a secure device.
Consent
This ‘Privacy Policy’ is intended to supplement but not replace or substitute any other consent intentions you may have provided to us in the past regarding your ‘personal data’, and the consent intentions you make in this document are supplementary to any rights we may have under the law to collect, use or disclose your ‘personal data’.
Use of Services by Minors

Deleting Your Account
If you wish to delete your account, or request that we no longer use your information to provide our services to you, please go to the ‘settings’ section of the ‘Services’ to delete your account. If you registered or logged into your account via an ‘Integrated Service’, you can also choose to disconnect the ‘Services’ from the ‘Integrated Service’ at any time. When deleting your account information (including any identity information about your family members that you have provided or have been collected), we may retain general demographic information about you, such as your general transaction records, and remove any personal identity information associated with this information, in order to use them for research or statistical purposes when they are no longer associated with you.
Changes to this 'Privacy Policy'
We may need to revise or update this ‘Privacy Policy’ from time to time to reflect changes in our ‘Services’, our business, or applicable law. We reserve the right to amend this ‘Privacy Policy’ periodically without prior notice. After we make any changes or revisions to this ‘Privacy Policy’, if you continue to access or use the ‘Services’, you will be deemed to agree to the terms of this revised ‘Privacy Policy’. We have prepared Chinese and English versions of this ‘Privacy Policy’. In case of discrepancy between the Chinese and English versions, the English version shall prevail.
